At the end of 29 weeks I have gained 13 pounds. 11 weeks to go.
I have picked Jan 8 as my last day in the office before starting my maternity leave. Assuming Margaret arrives on time. :) So I'm willing to be flexible. Because of MitreFridays, that means the last day I will see Margaret's WorkDaddy is 1/07! So that seems very fitting.
I had some troubles with Braxton Hicks contractions but those seem to have eased up. But don't worry, the heartburn got stronger to make sure I wasn't feeling too carefree. I'm not yet waddling and I feel pretty good as long as I remember to take the heartburn preventative twice a day. I'm also trying to keep my water intake high. Reading the scoop from below about 29 weeks I guess the extra calcium in the tums is a good thing for me too!
Margaret is still very active. She seems to be stretching and kicking and flipping around. She is still a fan of all things that include fatty melty cheese. Good girl!
Here's the scoop on 29 weeks:

Your baby now weighs about 2 1/2 pounds (like a butternut squash) and is a tad over 15 inches long from head to heel. His muscles and lungs are continuing to mature, and his head is growing bigger to make room for his developing brain. To meet his increasing nutritional demands, you'll need plenty of protein, vitamins C, folic acid, and iron. And because his bones are soaking up lots of calcium, be sure to drink your milk (or find another good source of calcium, such as cheese, yogurt, or enriched orange juice). This trimester, about 250 milligrams of calcium are deposited in your baby's hardening skeleton each day.
